Elements Print - Additional Information

Panaz has integrated Aegis into its Shield range, which can now carry ‘Elements’ prints on both sides for use as cubicle drapes, window curtains, blinds and related accessories. Flame retardant to BS 5867 Part 2 Type B, in line with current fire safety specifications, Shield repels water and oil-based solutions and is highly resistant to staining: almost any spillage can be removed using only a damp cloth and household detergent, and unsightly stains appear to simply fall away from the surface.

Inherently sterile due to its permanent Aegis finish, Shield is also designed to withstand repeated laundering to sterile standards. Draperies may even be steam-cleaned in situ without any adverse effect on their anti-bacterial and flame retardant properties, thereby avoiding the high maintenance costs associated with curtain removal, storage and re-hanging.

In addition, to complement or coordinate with Shield draperies and blinds, Panaz has developed Panvelle, which also can be printed with designs from the ‘Elements Collection’. Intended for fixed upholstery, Panvelle is warm to the touch, yet remains ‘breathable’ and is again actively anti-microbial, thanks to its Aegis finish. Panvelle has been proven extensively across the healthcare sector and, in recognition of its development and commercial success, Panaz was awarded the Queen’s Award for Enterprise & Innovation.

To complete the integrated approach to volume soft furnishings, Panaz also offers designs from its ‘Elements Collection’ across coordinating bedcovers, duvets and pillowcases.

All Panaz fabrics conform to current FR specifications, and the company is an approved supplier to the NHS, carrying National Contract Reference B/3/N/2057G.
