Clean and care for your upholstery on a regular basis and it will maintain its condition and appearance. Microfibre cleaning cloths are extremely effective without soap which is helpful as soap residues can clog your fabric. Vacuum and wipe clean regularly with a damp cloth (as specified above), with water to remove dust particles and prevent build up of soiling. Remove spillages promptly with an absorbent dry cloth. For heavier soiling use a mild liquid soap and water, ensuring that cleaning product residues are removed as they inhibit the stain repellent. Water and Oil based stains may be removed by using most water based household proprietary cleaning products following the manufacturer’s instructions. Remove bodily fluids promptly (within 15 minutes) with cold water and then clean as above. Extreme soiling/infection control purposes use a 5% sodium hypochlorite (bleach) solution (inc Haz Tabs and Chlor-Clean). Do not machine wash, fully immerse, dry clean or apply other chemicals/stain removers.
