‘Imperial Velvet’ by Panaz Offers Exceptional Performance
Exceptional performance, on-trend colourways and a sumptuous tactile appeal come together in ‘Imperial Velvet’, the powerful new collection from Panaz for fixed upholstery in severe contract environments.
In a move away from traditional mono-dimensional upholstery velvets, ‘Imperial Velvet’ features gently undulating contours reminiscent of a beach just washed by the ebbing tide. The resulting endless ripple effect appears to be carved into the pile and is brought to life with a burnished lustre.
The range of colourways is extensive, each having been identified by the Panaz design studio to complement the latest additions to the Panaz Art portfolio of jacquards, taffetas, dupions and embellished voiles. Vibrant shades of Raspberry, Red, Violet, Lime and Lavender contrast with more neutral hues of Taupe, Wheat, Rust, Chocolate and Mushroom, whilst the collection is completed by timeless tones of Navy, Ocean, Black, Silver and Gold.
Designed specifically for fixed upholstery in contract conditions, Panaz ‘Imperial Velvet’ is permanently flame retardant to BS7176:1995 (Direct) Ignition Source 0, 1 and 5, EN 1021/2 and NFPA 260 (USA). It also conforms to relevant European and international performance standards and durability expectations relating to upholstery fabrics in the hospitality sector, including maritime use.
