Panaz fabrics selected by Hilton

Fabrics by leading contract fabric manufacturer Panaz have been chosen for the new Hilton Liverpool hotel, the European Capital of Culture’s first development under the Hilton brand.

The landmark 216 room hotel in Liverpool’s Canning place, which will open in spring 2009, will feature Panaz’s Essence 100% Trevira CS linen-look fabric in drapes and Linear upholstery fabric throughout the guest rooms. The fabrics were specified by interior designers Aedas Architects according to Hilton Hotels’ rigorous technical standards. Panaz worked closely with Aedas and with Hilton head office during the development of the project, as well as with Hilton’s chosen soft furnishing and upholstery contractors in its execution.
Panaz is privileged to have been a preferred supplier of contract furnishing to Hilton hotels worldwide for many years. Many Hilton and Hilton Family Brand hotels around the world feature fabrics from the Panaz collection, or in many cases custom fabrics developed to specific design briefs, with full awareness of the demanding technical specifications required by one of the world’s leading hotel chains. Many of these hotels have required project cross-border project management to guide the project from specification by the interior designer in one country to execution of the project in another.
